Under the presidency of her Majesty Queen Nour of Jordan, the “King Hussein” foundation organised this year in Abu Dhabi a conference under the theme; �Sustainable Development is the Responsibility of All’.
Salma Yacout, a student in 2nd preparatory, represented Egypt due to her unique talent and repetitive participation in general international artistic competitions.
In the opening ceremony, the delegations made a parade with their national costumes then the children went to various workshops; music, painting, theatre, recycling, manual crafts, rhythmic gymnastics, etc.
The participants of the Congress visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Khalifa Tower and Saadiyat Island.
At the end of the Congress, the children presented some recommendations to the Arab League, UN and the UNECEF.
The achievements of the workshops were exhibited in the closing ceremony. All the attendants liked the artistic works of the talented Salma Yacout and she was interviewed by “Abu Dhabi” and “El Hurra” TV channels.
Some celebrities honoured the congress like Doreid Laham, Nedal El Ashkar, Hussein Fahmy, Magda El Roumy, Gamal Soliman and Asala. Angelina Jolie and Ricky Martin were among the foreign celebrities.
Certificates were given to all the participants and her Majesty Queen Nour gave Salma an iPad 3 which made her very happy.
